Become a flight instructor of drone pilots
The drone sector is experiencing enormous growth. Europe is the continent in which most growth is expected, and many training centres need staff capable of teaching how to use these aircraft.
- RPA certificate (basic and/or critical course)
- Flight experience of at least 16 hours
Introductory online course + 10 hours of theory lessons on teaching and learning methods, including their application to the use of RPAS (manoeuvres, emergency manoeuvres, technical knowledge of the aircraft, risk analysis, flight safety, RPAS legislation).
Practical Flight training
The aspiring drone flight instructor must carry out at least 18 missions (minimum 10 minutes) for a total of 3 hours (including basic manoeuvres, coordination manoeuvres, emergency manoeuvres, demonstration of the most common mistakes and putting the use of the RPAS back into safety.
At the end of the course, pilots will undertake a skill test with an RPA examiner. The flight test must be representative of the specific scenarios and must consist of a mission lasting at least 10 minutes.
